Walkable to the ferry and downtown shops & restaurants. House is nicely furnished with plenty of places to sit, eat, or relax. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels were plentiful and nice to have for the beach/activities. Kitchen is fully stocked. Pool is tiny but enough to dip in if you're done with the beach. The host is very helpful in setting up transportation, boat excursion, private guides, or chef for the house. Overall, lovely stay and would recommend.
The location was perfect! Close to the action but not too close! Not crowded like it was just right down the beach. The private patio is literally right on the beach!
Awesome family vacation at Casa Violeta! Jessy was fantastic from post-booking support with questions and recommendations to meeting us onsite to make sure we knew where everything was. House is beautiful and couldn't ask for a better location. Less than 10 minute walk to everything in downtown Playa. Beautiful beach full of sun when you want it and shade when you need it. Would stay here again hands down.
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Mayette a lot. Clean, spacious, well-equipped… and the location…. superb!!! We did not want to venture away from our amazing beach. But we occasionally did—we walked several times to the town center (12min to Starbucks and plenty of shops and restaurants thereafter). We hired a couple of cooks to cook for us. Maribel cleaned for us and showed us some Mexican creativity with towels. Jessy (the property manager) was very responsive and helpful. We hope to be back in the future!
We loved our stay at Casa Mayette. The hosts were very responsive and could help us navigate a foreign area with ease. We hired a private chef the first night and enjoyed the surroundings, walked to Playa as a group (about 20 min into the cool area), got groceries delivered day of arrival, and booked massages on the terrace. We were scared of mosquitos, but we didnt get bit one time- even without spray. Would stay again! Perfect for a group of 30-40 somethings celebrating our best friend and bride to be.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay at Caroline's beautiful villa. She had many helpful recommendations. In particular, Chef Beth who created some amazing meals for us. Hope to be back again soon - Thank you!
Caroline and Jessy were great hosts. We had no issues with the stay and the small issue we had with the water spikes was fixed so quick we literally said "Wow!!" I would highly recommend the accommodations. Felt very secure in the community and was close to downtown Playa Del Carmon which allowed for easy access to food, shopping and the Ferry to Cozumel. The only thing I would recommend is to bring water socks as part of the beach in front of the house has rocks and my water socks saved the day. I would also recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner as that was not provided.

Amazing place right on the beach! Good communication. We had one issue with the freezer and it did not work during our stay. Caroline tried to resolve but because of the holiday it wasn't able to be fixed. They provided some coolers as a solution. Great people and great house on the beach.
Casa Mayette was unlike any other experience! It was a beautiful house with lots of space, my group loved the huge dining tables inside and outside, and the access to the beach was unmatched. I would definitely book again!
We celebrated my birthday with friends and it was a perfect spot for us to relax and also enjoy the week together. Had a beautiful dinner outside with a chef that was recommended that was much better than some of the restaurants. The view of the beach is unbeatable. The house is spacious and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. We all had a lovely time.
The house is very beautiful and the location is excellent (right on the beach!!, private neighbourhood, close to downtown). The house itself is superb — highly recommended!!
Casa Violeta is a beautiful house and the pictures dont do it justice. It is much bigger in person. The beach is great and not crowded. We had 9 people in the house and the house felt very spacious. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
Casa Violeta was a great stay in PDC for our group of 10! The house is beautiful and the views of the beach are spectacular. Caroline and Jessy were so helpful. Overall, highly recommended and would stay again!
Casa Violeta is so, so lovely! The location is perfect: you get the peace of hearing no noise, yet you are minutes from the heart of Playa del Carmen. We were very happy to spend our holiday there.
If I could give SIX stars to this house, I would. Ocean front beach and pool access in a gated community. The house is very VERY spacious. Caroline and the other host were accessible via WhatsApp around the clock. All in all, this would be a place that I stay again.
